MediaTek Dimensity 720 has been launched as the latest 5G-supporting system on a chip (SoC) by the Chinese company. The new chip is aimed to enable 5G experiences on new mid-range smartphones — a move to take on Qualcomm that brought its Snapdragon 690 SoC with 5G support just last month.
