MediaTek Continues to Take on Qualcomm and Lead the Smartphone SoC Market in Q3: Counterpoint

MediaTek continued to dominate the smartphone system-on-chip (SoC) market in the third quarter of 2021, according to a report by research firm Counterpoint. Qualcomm, on the other hand, is said to remain the second player in the market, while Apple came third. China’s Unisoc maintained its third position and gained double-digit share, Counterpoint said.
