Samsung Electronics Rides Pandemic-Driven Chip Demand to Report Quarterly Profit Spikes

Samsung Electronics reported fourth-quarter net profits up by more than a quarter year-on-year Thursday, with coronavirus-driven working from home boosting demand for devices powered by its chips.
