Samsung beat Huawei to top the list of global smartphone vendors in the third quarter of 2020, according to research reports from IDC, Counterpoint, and Canalys. Xiaomi surpassed Apple for the first time to enter the top three, and Realme at number seven, its highest-ever spot, registered a strong quarter-on-quarter growth of over 100 percent.
